Love the Local. Very chill atmosphere, great tap selection. 3 dartboard's. Outside space. Karaoke on Friday nights. What more do you want? No food. Don't come here on an empty stomach. They do have popcorn available most nights, though.

Had a blast at The Local’s Trivia Night! Great mix of challenging and fun questions, with a lively host. The crowd was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Solid beer selection and attentive service.

If I can remember, I always come here every friday night. Which is karaoke night. So, my review will be based on that specific night only. Been there few times on friday night. Very busy night, very long line of karaoke, but the DJ did a veryyy good job. He remembers people's faces, like literally remember who requested what. His great memory amazed me and not to mention there is no pause or break. So, eventho its a long line of karaoke, but you will eventually singing. Bartenders are great, drinks okay. Prices normal for the area, drink sometimes good, sometimes meh. But yea, so far its been pretty amazing experience.

This bar is absolutely delightful. The beer selection is very diverse with 20 different beers from varying breweries. The staff are engaging and will give you pointers om which beers to pick depending on your preferences. Am excited to come during one of the themed nights which includes a Karaoke night and a band.

Per usual, I Googled "where the locals drink near me" and found "The Local" was the kind of spot for me. Maegan, the barkeep, was personable...sweet and simply ON POINT. She keeps an excellent atmosphere for the locals and travelers, like me, in which to enjoy. The people I have met were great representatives of what real New Yorkers are at the core...good people. Enjoy this treasure, as I have.

They offer flights and carry a great selection. I'd prefer if they listed their menu on Untappd, so that makes this 4.5 stars from me, and I'll round up to 5.

Miguel was an excellent open mic host, Paulette was bartending and welcomed us with a friendly smile and I had an extraordinary time meeting all of the other highly talented musicians. Cover songs and original music welcomed. As an attending Musician, I felt nothing but love. Plenty of parking. Back outdoor patio w/ a cover available for smokers.
